Seven accidents a day!!! - 02/01/2013

Seven accidents happen each day at work across Sussex, according to latest figures from the Health & Safety Executive (HSE).

Statistics revealed there were a total of 2,310 workplace injuries in 2011/12 within the county of Sussex which left employees requiring three or more days off. The total included one death, as well as 317 major injuries in West Sussex and a further 218 in East Sussex.

However, the figures also show that there has been a drop since last year. In 2010/11 there were 2,947 accidents in total, including one death and 589 major injuries.
