Traffic Plan hailed a resounding success! - 14/06/2010

Following the traffic problems from the first Christian music festival held at Wiston House, near Steyning in 2009, where 15000 people queued for many hours to get in, RANA risk management were instructed to revamp the Traffic Management Plans.

It was always going to be a challenge given last years problems but today many comments were noted including Tim Jupp the BigChurchDayOut Event Organiser who stated 'It was totally nailed. We were absolutely delighted with that.'

Sue Rogers, chairman of Steyning Parish Council agreed and was pleased that there was no traffic chaos like the previous year. 'I went to check the bypass at certain times during the Sunday and Monday and everything was flowing brilliantly' she said. 'It shows the plans they made for this year were successful'

Tony Day of Sussex Police  stated 'Well done to RANA risk management who composed a thorough and comprehensive set of plans. This together with a well motivated team on the days enabled the plans to work exceptionally well'.
